Zak graduated from the prestigious Specs Howard School of Media Arts, where he earned a degree in Digital Media Arts and graduated with honors with the highest GPA in his graduating class. Zak’s diverse talents also earned him recognition by his peers and he was voted “most creative”, in a fast-paced, competitive environment. His talents were soon put into fast action when he was hired by WBRW-TV, a local cable station, where he successfully produced a variety of TV commercials and sports casts.
Zak’s work earned him recognition of the producers of a new, upcoming Detroit film, titled, “The Pickle Recipe”, where he was hired as Assistant Editor, working with the team to complete the project with a release date of February 2016 in the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
Zak’s successes in his young career caught the attention of DPro where he now heads up Video Production. His many responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the production process from initial planning to pre-production, camera operator, and all stages of post-production to final product. He has a wide range experience including Final Cut Pro and Adobe products, such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
